     Earphones are very long and thin and a lot of people use them to listen to music or recordings. There are two black wires and on the end,  there are two black earplugs that you put in your ear. The two black wires are connected to each other to form one and on the end is a plug that you can connect to any device for listening to music or audio files. The quality of the headphones depends on the brand.

on family fun night, you could hear the sausages sizzling and the children laughing while the water splashed as the energetic children slid down the slippery wet slide as fast as a flash.

As you waited in line, you can feel the grass brushing on your feet as the wind blows while you are watching the sun slowly disapearing into the West.

Turtles Are Magnificient Creatures! By Louie

The turtle is a majestic creature that lives in the the underwater kingdom. Turtles are an endangered species and the most endangered turtle species in the world is the Kemp's Ridley, also known as the Lepidochely's kempii. Turtles look like a sandwich with no filling that walks on four small legs and has a big head. Its shell protects the top and the bottom of the body and it can be up to 20 centimetres thick. Turtles are mostly found in the Pacific like Fiji, Samoa or in the aquariums. Turtles are green and they can have dark or light shells.

Hollywood is a great place to go because it is full of fun and excitement for a lovely holiday. Hollywood smells like chips and candy and it has an enormous sign that stands out on top of the city. There are so many movie stars and famous people. Most movies are filmed there because they have high quality video cameras and equipment.      

Family Fun Night! By Emily

The slide was long, soapy and slippery. You get a big shock as you zoom down the slide. There were a lot of noisy, loud children running around. There were delicious food stalls; ice-cream, drinks, hot dogs and there was also a sushi truck. You could see peaceful adults sitting on the mats on the grass and children screaming because they were covered in soap. Family Fun Night was held at school in front of the classrooms on the school field.

What place is this? By Sana

This area is an extremely important place for children in order to be successful in life. It's gigantic with several rooms and inside each room, there are around 30 children woking hard. There are approximately 800 students learning in this place.
      Hanging on the walls surrounding the children are amazing pieces of work. There are different classes for different year levels. Children aged from 5-13 comes to this place everyday to learn. Education is one of the most important thing that happens at this place. In each room, there are around 30 chairs placed near the tables in the room. On the left of the room are six working computers. All of the equipment belongs to  the owner.

Where Is This Place? By Jada

This place is like a paradise. It has the most beautiful beaches with golden sand that tingles under your feet. The crystal, clear blue water washes upon the shore. The palm trees are different shades of green that sways left to right in the breeze. There are a lot of delicious ripe fruit on the main lands such as sweet juicy oranges and perfect custard apples. It's usually scorching hot most of the time except for the time when there was a tremendously, rebellious cyclone that destroyed everything. There are so many sugarcanes that people grow and use. There's this mountain called the "Sleeping Giant". It's called the sleeping giant, because it looks like a giant that's sleeping.

This event goes on for fifteen days. The colour red is all over the place. Sometimes the colour is a light shade of red but sometimes a dark shade of red. The firecrackers explode into the night sky. All of China are celebrating happily with great excitement. Sometimes some of the Chinese ladies come and sing on a stage! It is an incredible experience. You can see the light yellow glow in the night sky from the lanterns on display. The gigantic Chinese dragon dance is amazing to watch.

      He is a good pilot and is very impatient unlike his friends.
      He has dark brown hair and light brown skin. He usually wears black clothes without armour.
      He was very kind but then he turned evil and betrayed his friends. After he turned evil, he lost his intelligence and became clumsy.

I am humble, calm and I would never try hurting anyone. I wear a yellow hat with bright, red stitching along the brim of my hat. I enjoy having my friend's company because I got lost on a train and couldn't find my mother for a long time. I have pale, grey skin that is very smooth. My friend is a mouse who wears a dark red marching outfit with thin stitchings. There are also tiny silver medals on the top left side of his uniform. My ears are big and floppy but they are much larger than usual so a lot of the other elephants make fun of me.

Most children are shivering and sneezing through the night. It's an event that is the most celebrated in the world and 195 countries in the world celebrate this event.

     People celebrate this event because it was the day that Jesus was born. Mostly christians have celebrated it since the beginning of time. The main colours that are used during the celebration are red, gold, green and white. People give gifts to each other to celebrate the event.

     Some people stay at home in the Northern Hemisphere near the hot burning fireplace to stay warm while enjoying some hot cocoa. They may also go outside with a scarf, gloves and a puffy jacket. Some have snowball fights and make things out of snow as decoration. They hang ornaments on a tree and call it the "Yule Tree" and put a star on the top!
