Last week we started reading a story called 'The Woven Kete'. In this story, Rawiri was given a woven Kete by his nanny to keep his treasures in. We felt inspired so we all weaved our own paper Kete. This was a lot of hard work but we all persevered and completed our fantastic looking Kete!

Our dragon dance!
On Monday the 19th of February, our Mandarin teacher came to Room 6 and introduced to us the dragon dance that is usually performed during Chinese New Year. This experience helped us to understand more about the Chinese culture.
